Milk for blokes?

This ad has recently started appearing on the back of our local buses. What does it mean? Don’t tell me there’s a special kind of milk only for blokes? What could it possibly contain?

In an effort to find out more I had a look on the company web site. There’s no mention there of any kind of customised bloke milk! Looks like it’s just an ad encouraging blokes to drink milk ... unbelievable!!

Ok, I'm laughing at the phrase "customised bloke milk"... That's just funny! An odd ad campaign!

Michele sent me for a laugh.

LOL I wonder if they realize that they might be offending women with their slogan?

welcome tricia ... you're absolutely right. In fact a few women have been complaining about the ads.

hello ms mac ... I'm not even going to think about that!

yes oldoldlady ... the ad has been noticed ... but mostly in a negative kind of way .... it is a pretty stupid ad one has to say!

Hi - I've not seen the advert over here ... though we do have some pretty quirky flavours in milk now and, I believe, some people sell it straight out of the cow!

hello kloggers ... straight out the cow is it? WOW! How revolutionary! ;)

I think you have all missed the point!
This campiagn is in response to health concerns that New Zealand men are significantly more likely to die of chronic heart disease than are women.
The common stereotype that 'real men don't drink low fat milk' contributes to problems in getting men to cut down on the levels of saturated fat they are consuming. Good on meadow fresh for attempting to allow men to take better care of their bodies while still being able to enjoy full cream milk and not feeling any less masculine for it

hello mr anonymous ... well thanks for that .... I did miss the point that blokes still have a problem eating healthy food and need to be persuaded that it's a macho thing to do!
