... but I didn’t buy a fat pig ... only some vegetables. Saturday is flea market day when the market gardeners bring out their produce. The vegetables are fresh and, for the most part, locally produced. What can be better than that, in the days of carbon footprint worries?

Everything upside down where you are. But proper local markets springing up everywhere. That's the right side up!
I expect he found something to eat. The markets are good fun. I love browsing round them.
we are growing more and more of our own...not pigs yet though!
